Demolition produces most of the waste, and it happens first. Schedule the container to land the day before demo starts, not the week before.

Kitchen remodels

A typical kitchen gut produces 8-12 cubic yards: cabinets, countertops, flooring, drywall and appliances. A 15 or 20 yard container covers it.

Bathroom remodels

Small volume but heavy. Cast iron tubs, tile and mortar bed add up. A 10 yard container is usually right.

Multi-phase projects

For whole-home renovations, a swap-out schedule beats one giant container. You keep the site clear and only pay for what you fill.
